Kiarash is a cinematographer by
trade, a storyteller by nature.
He was given an old rangefinder
by his father when he was not more than 12 years old. All the “weird” numbers
on the barrel of the lens meant nothing to him until later on, but the “damage
was done”, Kiarash was hooked. Later he became fascinated with lighting when he
realized that he can “steal” his father’s flash light late at night when
everybody is sleeping and light objects from different angles.
Kiarash has pursued his passion for still and motion picture photography since. His body of work includes a vast range of styles and genres, including and not limited to documentary and lifestyle television, music videos and feature films. He is fluent with all modern
camera systems and formats and his talents knows no boundaries in telling a new story a little differently each time he peers through his viewfinder.
