Bill Hackenbrook is the co-founder (with director Peter Hajdu) of an independent production company that supports and finances short films, called Group Therapy Productions. Bill helped produce eight short films within the first three years of G.T.P.'s operation.  While at Group Therapy Productions, Bill directed two short films of his own entitled, Twist Of Perception, and Winning My Absolute Perception.  Mr. Hackenbrook also teaches acting classes.

 

An accomplished playwright, Bill is published with Samuel French Inc.  Some of his plays include the farces, Conditions, Affairs, and the comedies Baggage And Illusion, Stuck In Paradise and Love, Sex And The Girl Next Door.

 

In 2007, actor Brendan Fehr secured the rights to one of Bill's feature films, The Final Days Of Jimmy Brooks.  Bill is currently developing a feature film entitled, Fumbling Friends

 

Other writing credits includes the comedies, An Angel's Love, Second Chance and the sitcom pilot, Cop Shop, which he co wrote with actor Alan Lee:
